Xuewei Chen

In 2018, Xuewei obtained Master's degrees in both Urban Planning and Urban Design from the University of Michigan. She had nearly two years of experience with the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority, Data Driven Detroit, and as a research assistant for a Michigan Mellon Project at Taubman College.

Late in 2019, Xuewei returned to Shanghai, China, where she worked as an urban planner at the East China Architectural Design & Research Institute. She began her PhD studies in late 2020 and presented her work and paper at the AESOP 16th Young Academics Conference.
